Job Title: Plan Administration Associate Assistant
Reports To: Team Leader / Plan Administrator
FLSA Status: Exempt
Summary: Assist Team Leader and Team with projects as required. Assist Team Leader and Team with day-to-day plan administration as requested. Assist in documenting company procedures. Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to help streamline and maintain procedures; effectively communicate with clients, investment advisors, accountants, auditors, other plan professionals, plan participants, coworkers; prioritize workflow; work independently; research and resolve problems and issues as they arise. Provide assistance to Team Leader on day-to-day basis as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access to accomplish projects as requested
Use Microsoft Excel as necessary for data entry, and for projects as necessary
Be familiar with company processes as they relate to responsibilities assigned by supervisors
Assist Team Leader and Team on day-to-day issues including phone calls, projects, correspondence
Provide assistance in documenting and improving company procedures and processes
Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external contacts
Prioritize workflow to meet short, intermediate and long-term deadlines
Follow Company procedures and maintain appropriate plan documentation as required.
Assist with mailing correspondence to clients, participants and advisors
Data Entry
Assistance with setting up new plans and clients for Team
Assist with distribution processing
Assist with plan files (maintaining and creating)
Assist with Team's large client in all areas as needed
